Steel Operative is required for a multi-national steel processing company based in West Bromwich. Operating overhead cranes to move steel around the workplace, feeding the machine lines and loading/unloading vehicles for dispatch.

Duties of the role include;

  • Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
  • Operating counterbalance forklift trucks
  • Helping to load and unload machines
  • Loading and unloading vehicles for delivery
  • Any other duties as and when required
You will be working on a rotating shift pattern of;


  • Monday

  • Friday 6am 4pm (1pm finish Fridays)


  • Monday

  • Thursday 6pm 6am
This role will be;

  • Working on a temptoperm basis with long term opportunities
  • Weekly pay whilst on the agency
  • Paying £12.39 on the day shift & £14.08 on the night shift
