Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Stores/Stock Controller to join our team.

As a Controller, you will be responsible for tracking stock levels and ensuring that the supplies are sufficient to meet the demands of customers.

Their primary duties include checking stock levels, Issuing stock to production, ordering additional stock and updating stock records.

Duties:

Ensure that stock levels are consistent, ordering new stock if necessary and processing STOCK orders
Record and maintain inventory lists
Identify solutions to issues in inventory and discrepancies
Update stock information and computer systems
Prepare and issue stock to Production
Implement an inventory management system
Identify slow stock and assist in decommissioning of said line

Skills and Qualification:

IT literate and a working knowledge of inventory management systems and processing software
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work methodically and quickly.
Excellent time management
A good understanding of a manufacturing assembly line
Ability to lift heavy items. Able to work in a physically demanding role
Teamwork skills and ability to work independently whilst able to liaise with senior management
Experience operating equipment, such as electric pallet trucks and handheld scanners would be an advantage.
