Jackson Hogg Limited are delighted to be partnering with our North Yorkshire based client in their search for 2 x CNC Machinists.

Our client are leading experts within structural steel design and build, with clients throughout the UK.


Key points:

  • 12 week temp to perm opportunity
  • Monday to Friday
  • Permanent day/late shift available
  • 20% shift allowance for lates
  • Opportunity to receive profit sharing, quarterly and annually
  • Overtime available (not compulsory)

Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
  • Operate Peddinghaus machinery
  • Cut steel using saw drill
  • Operate the overhead crane safely
  • Maintain a high level of health & safety

Experience:


  • Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
  • Proficiency in operating Fanuc controls and programming CNC machines
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings

Job Type:
Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 weeks


Salary:
£12.00-£15.60 per hour
