- Lead the air system test requirements and test modelling implementation on project.
- Provide subject matter expertise on own areas of expertise, and develop own and others knowledge and experience to develop the capability.
- Implement and influence the company MBSE culture and champion the MBSE ethos.
- Support internal and client capability in line with model based and digitisation strategies.
- Integrate with safety regime to demonstrate controls to support air system safety case and integrated test evaluation and acceptance planning activities.
- Guide engineering teams on the integration of requirements into MBSE and qualification test system.
- Provide day to day governance in alignment with industry and client standards and practices.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and project teams to address system test integration queries and ensure that air system platform considerations are integrated throughout project lifecycles.
- Remain aware of current industry developments in air system certification and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization and wider industry.
- Mentor engineers across the discipline and wider engineering teams and contribute to their professional development as well as their own.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, systems engineering, or a related field.
- Chartered Engineer status with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with model based systems engineering toolsets and standards e.g. SYSML DS CAMEO, Rationale Rhapsody, PTC Integrity Modeller
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management toolsets e.g. Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, DS Enovia
- Demonstrable experience in systems test integration at air system platform level, with a focus on the early lifecycle startup and implementation of qualification test techniques through simulation and modelling to support certification.
- Deep understanding of industry related standards for platform certification within the aerospace sector.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide, mentor and develop teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to system test architecture.
- Flexibility to adapt to different sectors and work environments.
- Familiar with system engineering standards e.g ISO 15288 & ISO
- Experience in other relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., ARP 4754 / 4761, DO 254 , DO-178C).
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role as a Platform System Test Integrator.

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced Air System Test Integration Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Overview of the role
We are seeking an experienced engineer in aerospace platform systems test and integration to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in air system platform level test integration across the engineering lifecycle. This includes air system requirements means of compliance test definition to support certification activities at analysis, lab, system integration ground and flight testing.
The candidate should have knowledge of model based system modelling techniques with a strong background in practical implementation of MBSE practices at air system platform level, and be conversant with various industry standards e.g. Def Stan 00-970, CS 23, 25, Def Stan and their implementation on engineering projects to understand test requirements to provide mean of compliance evidence.
