Customer Service Supervisor
Big Green Coach provides transport solutions to live events, mainly music festivals and concerts, in the UK and into Europe.
We work very closely with some of the biggest names in live music undertaking a variety of bus and coach transport contracts, often acting as an official ticket retailer.
Due to our rapid growth over the past few years, Big Green Coach is looking to appoint a Customer Service Supervisor, who will report directly to the Customer Service Manager.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assisting with general customer service
- Dealing with customer complaints
- Dealing with customer enquires
- Answering social media enquires
- Updating customer bookings
- Assisting the Customer Service Manager
- Supporting Customer Service Manager in their absence
- Providing social media and phone cover for any events outside of regular working hours.
- Managing a small team of customer service advisors, which may include creating rotas and giving training
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- Good IT Skills
- Good telephone manner
- Great organisation & administration skills
- Previous call handling
- Good problemsolving skills
- Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Able to work flexible hours over Summer and weekends
- Experience in a customer service role
- Ability to deal with all customers with professionalism and warmth
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Ability to work alone and within a team efficiently
Preferred:
- Experience in events or travel customer service
- Based in Birmingham
- General interest in events and festivals
- Basic understanding of the transport industry
THE PERSON
We are looking for somebody with ambition and energy to work in our small but rapidly growing business.
The role can often be hugely demanding and there will be some weekend and evening work required, depending on rotas.
