Crowe Watson Recruitment is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants located in the vibrant town of Tamworth.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be a key player in maintaining our client's financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Your duties will cover a wide range of tasks, such as preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and managing ledgers.

This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working within a fast-paced environment and seeks to provide high-quality, professional accounting support to a variety of clients.

Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining accurate financial records of all transactions.
  • Preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
  • Reconciling bank statements and managing ledgers.
  • Assisting with budget preparations and audits.
  • Processing invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Assisting the accounting team with other financial tasks as needed.

Requirements:


  • AAT qualification or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
  • Proven bookkeeping experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent numerical skills and data entry competence.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

Salary:
£18,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
