An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this thriving local company. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is self-motivated and determined to learn the business and progress.


This is truly a varied role covering Accounts admin, Production admin and Sales admin (updating invoices, departmental reports and documents).

Using a variety of software packages to produce correspondence and documents, and maintain spreadsheets and databases. In addition, supporting the Managing Director, Operations Director and Sales Manager in an administration capacity.

Hours: 8.30am to 5pm
  • Monday to Friday
1⁄2 hour for lunch

20 days holiday plus bank holiday

Main Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Accounts Administration
  • Daily invoicing and reporting via Sage system
  • Monitoring invoices versus production for completeness
  • Raising requests for payment
  • Credit lines review update and monitoring
Operations Administration

  • Liaising with Production to book in couriers for collection and delivery of consumables /cancelling collections if not required.
  • Monitoring job for completeness, shipping of customer orders, dealing with returns
  • On hand to support Office and Production staff and work in a flexible manner to accommodate changes in job priorities.
Sales Administration

  • Maintain the various sales file systems, both electronic and paper, including account files
  • Maintain sales performance related spreadsheets and/or databases for Sales Management

The successful applicant will:

  • Be a selfstarter, hungry to develop and progress
  • Have strong customer service skills with good telephone manner, strong IT skills, comfortable in a sales environment.
  • Confident and friendly, with good verbal and written skills
  • Have the ability to work as part of a small team
  • Education A level or equivalent
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office (word excel etc)
  • Have a working knowledge of Sage (preferred not essential)
  • Own transport is essential due to location

£24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
