We are working with a charity based in Brighton that is looking for an interim Head of Finance to work with the CEO & board of trustees.

About the Role As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the whole of the finance department, reporting to the CEO you will have 6 direct reports and be expected to get the best out of them.

Certain aspects of this role involve developingand delivering reports to the board of trustees relating to finance

Take responsibility for the daytoday accounting and financial management
Formulate annual budgets and forecasts in liaison with SLT members, for approval by the board of trustees
Build relationships with the support services team and key operational departments to ensure that a uniform approach and delivery of best practice/information is shared
Provide support and financial information for the audit
Prepare and oversee the audit of the annual report and financial statements for submission to the Charity Commission and Companies House
Oversee payroll and pension processes
ESFA experience highly advantageous

This is a 360-finance role, you will need to be across the day-to-day as well as looking at the bigger picture.
