SEND Learning Support Assistant - Doncaster


The School caters for children and young people aged 3-19 with Special Educational Needs, predominantly Severe Learning Disabilities and Autism.


We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants with Key Stage 1/2 experience who have a real passion to support the academic learning and personal development of the children and young people.

This position will particularly appeal to individuals who have a wide range of skills and talents to offer, such as a background in enrichment and wider extra-curricular activities, as we feel these attributes will complement the role well.

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who have an innovative, energetic and resilient approach to their work.


Requirements:

To be considered for the learning support position, you will:

  • Have experience of supporting children with special educational needs
  • Have the skills to place student's learning at the centre of your work
  • Have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Have Team Teach/Advanced Team teach or willing to undertake training
  • Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
  • 2 x references (including your last employer)
