- Work with Partners and other senior members of the wider primary care team on complex matters.
- Work on your own matters where appropriate.
- Drafting, reviewing, advising on and negotiating contracts of a nature listed above.
- Develop internal relationships as a starting point.
- Manage matters in accordance with client service level agreements.
- Achieve financial and chargeable time targets.
- Complete client management information as and when required.
- Experience of working on commercial contracts at 3 to 5+PQE level.
- Experience in primary care.
- Knowledge of NHS primary care service contracts.
- Knowledge of NHS primary care funding.
- Willingness to learn new areas – including some of technology, data and public procurement.
- Good drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Commercial awareness.
- Conscientious, self-motivated, hard-working, and responsive.
- Critical thinking abilities and excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to support junior team members.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and client protocols while maintaining high standards.
- Negotiable salary depending on experience, £65-70k as a guide.
- 28 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rated for part time).
