Contract Type: 10 month FTC Salary: £35K Sector: Finance Job RoleOur client, a well establish, manufacturing/engineering business, based in Lowton, require an experienced Accountant/Finance Controller for a minimum 10-month fixed term contract.

As the Assistant Financial Controller, your duties will be:
Assist with budget preparation.
Manage, control and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Assist in month end processing.
Consolidation of UK & European accounts.
To oversee and assist in the day-to-day VAT Returns, Invoices, Aged Creditors and Debtors etc.
Prepare accurate and timely journals.

The ideal Assistant Financial Controller will hold the following skills and experiences:
Have solid experience working in a Finance/Accounting department.
Must be minimum part qualified AAT.Experience of Syspro/SAP or Sage is ideal.
Strong IT skills including Excel spreadsheets/pivot tables/formatting/Lookups and all Microsoft Office functions.
Knowledge of fixed assets/depreciation/AP/AR/credit control is ideal.
High level of analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
