Description

Our client is keen to appoint a temporary Personal Advisor to improve the life chances of young people who have left local authority care, in accordance with relevant legislation.

Collaborate with care leavers' parents, caregivers, and other significant adults to foster and nurture relationships whenever feasible
Prioritise listening to and considering the perspectives and desires of young people, utilising a person-centered approach in all interactions
Engage individuals in educational, training, and employment opportunities
Facilitate access to available accommodation options and provide the necessary support to maintain housing stability for care leavers
Assess and understand potential risks to care leavers' well-being and promptly inform managers when intervention or additional support is warranted
Participate in supervision, professional development, and training activities, contributing to service planning as necessary
Experience working with young people
Multi-agency working experience
