Senior Data Privacy Lawyer – 6-month Contract – In-houseAbout the Company:
Our client is a very well-regarded UK based company, with a strong focus on technological innovation.
They are seeking a Senior Data Privacy Lawyer to join their team for a 6-month assignment.
The client is happy with a hybrid working set up with 3 days per week in their London office, and 2 remotely.
Provide expert advice on complex data and privacy legal matters and assist in privacy risk incident managementCollaborate closely with the Commercial and Product Legal teams
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with data protection legal requirements
Lead advisory efforts on cookies, similar technologies, and digital advertising
Contribute to the management of the data privacy operating model and act as a key contact for EU local legal and data privacy matters
Develop training and briefing notes for colleagues across the organisation
English law qualified lawyer with at least six years' experience in the data/privacy field
Strong data protection law expertise within the UK and EU
Good working knowledge of data privacy law regimes in other jurisdictions preferred
Ability to translate legal issues to wider business stakeholders
Preference for candidates with prior in-house experience, along with a track record of working on complex projects
