- Must hold a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry or will submit PhD thesis before commencement of post.
- Good publication record.
- Experience in developing new synthetic methodologies, in particular, radical decarboxylation reactions and C-H dunctionalisations of pharmaceutical compounds.
- Experience in reaction optimisation and synthetic route development on a wide range of scales (milligrams to decagrams).
- Experience with developing light-mediated reactions with various commercial photoreactors.
