Radar Recruitment are supporting a large North Kent entity with that search for a Commercial Contracts Manager, reporting into the Head of Department the Commercial Contracts Manager will support the company in streamlining contract workflow for their Sales and Procurement teams, reducing risk by negotiating the company's contractual position, improving decision-making and sign-off, and enhancing sponsor areas' experience by excellent management of contracts and related information from start to finish of the deal flow.

    The position will play a key role in optimising performance and contractual position on major contracts.


    Responsibilities:

    Taking instructions and effectively coordinating the deal flow with all relevant stakeholders (Leadership team, Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations, and others) for smooth contract negotiation and signature processManaging business contract queriesHelping relevant stakeholders understand and mitigate certain risks associated with various contract terms and provisionsDefining the approval process and sign-off in accordance with company policies and proceduresMaintaining the transparency and traceability of events, sign-off and contractual documentsTracking contractual obligations and compliance statusCoordinating the contractual routine, such as producing reports on the execution and performance of contracts with clients/suppliers, and other administrative and management tasksCommunicating relevant information about the contractual performance of the partiesRecording and managing key information about contracts, including collecting and filing contracts and related documentsNegotiating issues with guidance from the legal department and internal policiesProviding information about contracts to relevant stakeholders and external counselsManaging RFP processes, bid responses, procurement questionnaires and KYCs;Sharing contract knowledge with all the relevant stakeholders, by conducting training and acting as an advisor to other areasEffectively managing the contracts to ensure the protection of the company's interests, through active management, financial monitoring, documentation and communication control, and support to lawsuits and disputesProfile:Excellent knowledge and understanding of contractsMinimum 5 years' experience as a contract manager/analyst/administrator, handling complex client/customer contracts, distributorship agreement, supply agreements, NDAsExperience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating varied commercial contracts in a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environmentUniversity's degree, preferably in a business or technical discipline, or other relevant experienceExperience with MS office suite programs (word, excel, powerpoint, etc.); experience with contract lifecycle management applications and e-signature platforms a plusAbility to recognise issues and the commitment to follow through to ensure that they are resolvedGood abstract thinking and ability to see things from someone else's perspectiveAbility to work collaboratively with legal counsels, Sales and other internal areasProfessional demeanour and sensitivity to client relationshipsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentWorking understanding of key commercial contract and risk management conceptsUnderstanding of commercial and contractual lawWhat is on offer?£55k - £61kCirca 10% annual bonusHybrid work environmentCompany PensionPrivate Medical Insurance4x salary life assurance25 days holiday plus bankEmployee Assistance Programme (mental health support, personal training sessions, nutritional sessions, discounts and savings, etc.)
