PCB Rework Technician - Basingstoke, United Kingdom - Carbon 60

Description

Rework TechnicianCarbon60 are currently looking for a PCB Rework Technician to join an interesting, low-volume electronics Manufacturer in Basingstoke - specialising in rapid prototyping and PCB supply to various high-calibre clientele.

The right candidate will be experienced in the rework and repair of PCBs by hand and various equipment

• Including Surface Mount (SMT) and Through Hole (TH) soldering.

BasingstokeSalary:
£25k - £35k p/a
Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, Mon

• Fri

- Overtime opportunities available (1.5x)

Responsibilities:
Rework and repair of SMT and Through Hole Soldering, by hand or with aids

• Track and Pad Repairs, Wire Linking, Modifications and Board Repairs.

Operation of Soldering Irons, Infrared BGA Placement and Reflow, Hot Air Convection Reflow and X-Ray Machines.


Required Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a similar Rework position with an array of components, BGA and QFNAble to interpret various documentation and schematics: Assembly drawings, bills of material, etcCan identify various componentsAbility to inspect close workPossess a methodical approach to problem solvingHave a keen eye for detail and possess a high level of accuracy If this position is of interest and you meet the requirements of the role, please apply directly with your up-to-date CV - all applications will be responded to in a timely manner.
