    Full-time Salary: £40,000Concept – IT is partnering a dynamic and growing Technology organisation who are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Procurement Professional to lead their small Procurement and Business Operations team


    Position Overview:

    We are looking for an experienced Procurement candidate who possesses not only strong procurement expertise but also excellent leadership skills to manage a small administrative team.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the efficiency of our administrative operations.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Procurement Management:
    Develop and implement effective procurement strategies. Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.


    Team Leadership:
    Manage and lead a small administrative team. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Coordinate team activities to achieve departmental goals.


    Process Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process improvement within procurement and administrative functions. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Streamline workflows to optimise resource utilisation.


    Compliance:
    Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations. Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.


    Qualifications:
    Proven experience in procurement with a focus on strategic sourcing. Previous experience procuring IT and/or IT Services. Previous leadership experience managing an administrative team. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer and solutions focussed Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
