    Job Overview

    Arm Operations mission is to enable strategic outcomes for the organisation through integrated planning, governance, delivery, and insights infrastructure.     The Operations team includes members in multiple sites: UK, France and US

    The director of engineering effectiveness will report to the Delivery and Engineering enablement team that drives methodologies, processes, metrics and reporting towards a standardized and efficient model across Arm.

    Responsibilities:

    We are looking for a passionate Director of engineering effectiveness, who will work in partnership with arm engineering groups, this role will be pivotal in crafting and optimizing engineering methodologies, processes, metrics, and reports to increase efficiency and bring wide alignment with arm strategy.

    You will lead a large team for whom you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and line management (including assisting with the development of careers, mentoring and coaching, managing accountabilities and objectives).

    Required skills and experience:

    • Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS/MSc) in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering - although other degrees will be considered with relevant work experience.
    • A consistent track record of leading engineers.
    • A passion for developing people and helping them advance their careers.
    • Ability to conduct large-scale or complex change initiatives across the organisation.
    • Experience in defining and embedding engineering methodologies, processes, metrics, and reports that increase engineering efficiency and bring wide alignment.
    • Team and people management, with consistent track record working with global teams.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to advise management on the strategic and tactical areas of large projects based on the-field experience.
    • Adaptive and able to excel in fast-moving, rapidly evolving environments.
    • Ability to take part of the operational excellence of the company by steering continuous improvement actions.

    'Nice to Have' Skills and Experience:

    • Experience in the Semi-conductor industry and knowledge of role types within the sector.
    • Experience working with diverse and multicultural teams.
