- Provide technical support for the repair andoverhaul of rotating equipment including dismantling diagnosingassembling testing and issuing related technicalreports.
- Offer technical consultation to ShopsOperating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
- Support field installation maintenance and repair ofrotating equipment.
- Troubleshoot repair andmodify existing equipment while identifying cost reductions andprocess improvements.
- Prepare designengineering packages for rotating equipment.
- Conduct technical investigations for shop repair returnjobs to identify root causes corrective actions and lessonslearned.
- Introduce and apply the latesttechnology in repair methodology.
- Develop andrevise the departments technical procedures andstandards.
- Mentor and share knowledge withjunior engineers quality inspectors and technicians.
- Provide technical input for purchasing specifications andevaluate technical proposals.
- Collaborate withdepartment engineers Consulting Services Department (CSD) othercompany departments and manufacturers.
- Coordinate with InHouse Repair Units Quality Assuranceunits InKingdom Contractors vendors and manufacturers for shoprepair work scopes.
- Participate in vendor andcustomer exchange meetings.

- Bachelors Degree inMechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15 years ofhandson experience in the mechanical field particularly withrotating equipment.
- Proven experience inmechanical design troubleshooting and major repair of oil and gasrotating equipment such as gas compressors steam turbines pumps andgearboxes.
- Experience in an original equipmentmanufacturing facility or a certified repairing facility for steamturbines gas compressors and diesel engines.
- Excellent English reading and writing skills.
