    Central services, Finance

    Our 12-strong finance team is responsible for the group & head office finance and treasury functions as well as providing all day-to-day accounting support for our trading companies in the UK, Dubai, Belgium & Ireland. Working alongside the business we seek to add value and provide relevant analysis in order to aid decision making.

    Role Overview

    As a member of Finance Team this role will be involved in the timely production of management accounts for allocated practices as well as . Ensuring compliance with group and accounting policies, plus adhering to a rigorous financial control and reporting environment.

    Duties/responsibilities

    General Responsibilities Include:

    • Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for the various Practices including variances to budget/forecast
    • Preparation of monthly commentary/financial reports for Budget holders
    • Preparation of client servicing and utilisation data
    • Ownership of weekly revenue forecast for the allocated practice, ensure forecast is updated with latest changes
    • Assist with reporting on gross margin, new business wins and losses, inflationary increases (with support from Senior Business Analyst)
    • Assist Senior BA in preparation of quarterly budgets/reforecasts
    • WIP management, ensure ageing less than 90 days
    • Import and analysis of foreign entities management accounts. Querying and challenging numbers where needed with support from Senior BA.
    • Preparation and revision of Balance Sheet reconciliations
    • Generation of monthly journals (including accruals/prepayments) and consolidation journals
    • Ensure all supplier invoices are coded and posted to the relevant cost centres.
    • Support year end audit process including preparation of audit requirements and resolution of queries
    • Assisting with ad hoc projects

    • Ability to deliver responsibilities with minimum supervision

    Location and hours

    • Our London office is based in the heart of the City of London on Gresham
    • Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week between 09:00 and 17:30
