Maintenance Electrician

£Alecto Recruitment is working with a market leader in the Anaerobic Digestion sector who is actively looking for a Maintenance Electrician at their site in Widnes.

14 shifts holiday per annum increasing over time.
Company Pension
Eligible to opt into private healthcare plan after 2yrs service.
Working on a 4 on 4 off rota (days + nights)

As a Maintenance Electrician your duties and responsibilities will vary but will include:

Carrying out day to day maintenance of all plant and machinery.
Carrying out routine electrical maintenance and repairs according to planned maintenance schedules, including the completion of risk assessments.
Carrying out electrical maintenance on PPM system.
Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues
Provide production support within the shift team and provide shift cover when required.
Assisting other mechanical / operational departments when required.

Ideally have experience of an Anaerobic Digestion facility or related experience.
You must have served a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
Have extensive Electrical experience working in a continuous process environment.
Be familiar with general factory maintenance practices.
Be conversant with basic PLC logic and inverter drives.
