Laboratory Technician

Kettering

Hours - Full or Part Time (School hours available)

Salary £18,895 - £20,520 per annum DOE - pro rata for part time


Our Kettering based client has a vacancy (Full time and/or Part time) for a Laboratory Technician to work in their Footwear Testing Business Centre.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will be required to carry out the following:

  • Operate standard laboratory equipment in line with Health and Safety assessments and test methods to conduct routine physical testing
  • Take responsibility for certain aspects of the laboratory and stores maintenance
About You

  • You must be able to demonstrate good organisation, time management and planning skills.
  • A high level of written and oral communication is essential as is meticulous attention to detail.
  • Previous test laboratory experience would be an advantage, as would knowledge of footwear construction and materials, however full training will be given.
  • Flexibility, tenacity and a 'cando attitude' are key requisites of the role.
