Customer Support Analyst / Material PlannerLocation:
Desford site based
Salary £15.60 p/h
3 month contract, possibility to extend
Full Time:
Mon-Fri 08:00 - 16:00
The role:
To deliver and enhance customer satisfaction by assisting customers with orders/queries and the timely receipt of product whilst also driving incremental sales with the assigned customer base.
To strive to achieve maximum customer service, minimum inventory investment and efficient material flow to increase availability and provide assurance of supply for our customers, whilst keeping premium freight to a minimum spend.
Providing technical information, entering, and expediting orders whilst handling customer problems with professionalism and efficiency to deliver an exceptional Customer Experience and constantly providing assurance of supply through efficient material flow.
This role is analytical and requires a problem-solving mindset with the drive to serve our customers and exceed expectations. Whilst also building and maintaining strong professional relationships with our key partners globally.Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Common Goal Agreements with Customers determining action plans for improvements.
Acting as the Businesses initial interface with the Customer ensuring relationships are developed and queries resolved with pace.
Accountability for Managing Customer Orders
Establishes priority of material needs, expedites and de-expedites as required
Collaboration with customers via phone/email/Teams and online tools.
Accountability for identifying and resolving future risk for customers' production.
Management of Outbound Premium Freight/reduction in costs
Backorder Management
Project Support
Ownership of any root cause and corrective action analysis required.
Determines alternative supply methods due to factory operational/supplier constraints/material deviations.
Ability to analyze business conditions and situations and to proactively minimize disruption to daily requirements.
Regular meetings with customers and global peers.
