3D Animation Specialist - London, United Kingdom - Smiths Group plc

Description

Reporting to the Interactive Media Production Manager, the successful candidate will work within a highly skilled production team producing digital content ranging companywide live broadcasts and PTC, to product animations, eLearning content and interactive multimedia experiences.

This person will primarily focus on developing 3D animations that helps disseminate complex information in a clear, concise, and engaging way. This includes the creation of tutorial videos, product animations and interactive 3D experiences.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects, Blender / Cinema 4D and Substance 3D. Knowledge of Unity and Unreal is also desirable.

• BA or BS degree in 3D modelling and animation or equivalent.
• Ability to demonstrate storytelling skills to create structured, effective, engaging and professional content.
• Ability to create storyboards and contribute towards scripting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Focus on continuous learning - the right person will demonstrate an interest in keeping up with current trends, techniques and equipment
