Multi Skilled Operative

Location:
Severn Trent Water, Belper

Hours Per Week:

Monday - Friday, 40 Hours

Job Type:
Permanent / Full Time

The Multi Skilled Operative will:

Carry out planned and reactive works within the agreed times and to the highest standard, complying with current regulations and clients specifications
Inspection of plant & equipment, ensuring results are captured accurately
Working either as part of the maintenance team completing small maintenance activities or work independently on minor tasks without local supervision
Able to carry out works as per agreed timeframes ensuring practical completion is achieved as scheduled
Undertake a range of maintenance repairs including installation of building fabric and civil repairs and items
Management & replenishment of local site stock
Be responsible for deliveries of material between sites and local suppliers
Be responsible for sites waste management

General brickwork repairs

Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times and ensure the best possible working practices are adhered.
Respond to Out of Hour Call out
Be responsible for overall site welfare duties
Be comfortable working at height
Complete typical jobs in addition to general fabric items:
Complete plastering and tiling jobs
Complete small roof patches
Clean gutters and general roof cleaning
Complete small civil works such as rebedding slabs or manholes
Complete small amounts of general painting

About You:

Essential

Demonstrate relevant experience preferably within the maintenance or construction industry
Current Full Drivers License

Desirable Criteria

Trade Qualification
Experience carrying out Planned Maintenance Task
IOSH/CSCS
PASMA
IPAF
