We are currently looking for a Finance Administrator to join our growing team.


About the role
We are looking for an experienced Finance Administrator, who is outgoing and highly organised individual to join our team. We have a friendly, open office environment, but one which is fast moving, hands-on and focused on achievement.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • Processing purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes
  • Dealing with purchase ledger/sales ledger queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and payments
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Daily Processing of bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliations (Xero software)
  • Support with the preparation of intercompany reconciliations and arranging bank transfers
  • Support monthly payroll information and liaise with external accountant and payroll bureau on all payroll matters
  • Support implementation of all new payroll & pension requirements
  • Answering and forwarding phone calls (screening calls as necessary)
  • Arranging couriers, sorting, and distributing post
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Vetting and inputting all employee expenses
  • Vetting and inputting credit card expenditure
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Manages employee benefit packages

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Be highly computerliterate
  • Possess excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Wellorganised, efficient, and good at multitasking
  • Keen eye for details with a good level of accuracy
  • Willingness to perform ad hoc tasks
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Proficient in accounting, math, and deductive reasoning
  • Familiarity with Xero and ERP systems
  • Must be able to manage complex and confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to work with others

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good GCSE/A Levels results.
  • At least 2 years' experience working in a finance office environment
  • Proficient with Xero, Excel, Word Office 2010
