    Dukosi is a leading-edge technology company developing innovative solutions for use in large complex batteries. The technology has applications in mobility (electric vehicles, buses, marine) and energy storage (renewables). Dukosi's unique cell-based battery intelligence solution is cell type agnostic and simplifies the architecture, control and safety of the BMS (Battery Management System), battery modules and packs by communicating over Dukosi's patented near-field communications.

    We are currently building a world class ASIC team in Edinburgh. This exciting opportunity will allow you to play a key role as part of a team innovating in an application area and market segment that will see enormous growth over the next 10-15 years.     As the Cybersecurity Head Engineer specializing in Semiconductor and Automotive Technology, you will assume a critical role in safeguarding our cutting-edge products from cybersecurity threats. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of cybersecurity strategies, standards, and practices, ensuring the integrity and security of our semiconductor and automotive technology solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    Cybersecurity Strategy and Leadership:

    • Develop and lead the implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy tailored to semiconductor and automotive technology.
    • Provide visionary leadership to a team of engineers, fostering a culture of cybersecurity excellence

    Threat Analysis and Risk Management:

    • Conduct in-depth threat analysis to identify cybersecurity risks specific to semiconductor and automotive products.
    • Develop risk management strategies, ensuring robust mitigation measures are in place.

    Cybersecurity Standards and Compliance:

    • Stay current with industry cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, ISO/IEC and regulatory requirements relevant to semiconductor and automotive sectors.
    • Ensure adherence to these standards throughout product development.

    Security Architecture and Design:

    • Collaborate with hardware, software, and system engineers to integrate cybersecurity features into the design of semiconductor and automotive products.
    • Review and approve security architecture and design decisions.

    Secure Development Practices:

    • Implement secure coding practices and guidelines for software development within the semiconductor and automotive domains.
    • Oversee security testing and code review activities to ensure vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated.

    Incident Response and Recovery:

    • Develop incident response plans to effectively address cybersecurity incidents and breaches.
    • Lead incident response efforts and coordinate recovery strategies as needed.

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cybersecurity considerations are integrated into every stage of product development.
    • Communicate cybersecurity strategies, updates, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly beneficial.
    • Proven experience as a cybersecurity leader within semiconductor and automotive technology environments.
    • Deep understanding of cybersecurity standards and best practices relevant to the semiconductor and automotive sectors.
    • Proficiency in threat analysis, risk management, and incident response planning.
    • Familiarity with secure coding practices and security testing methodologies.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire a team of cybersecurity engineers.
    • Excellent communication skills to convey complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
