About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to join the School of Population Health Sciences.

As a Research Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating our research efforts to innovate and evaluate digital therapeutic interventions.

Your contributions will support our research activities, spanning from participant recruitment to the management of our projects.

You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and research software engineers, ensuring the smooth progression of projects from inception to completion.


Responsibilities include:
Implement strategies for the effective recruitment of study participants, ensuring diverse and representative sample sizes.

Support the planning and execution of research projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.

Participate in data collection processes and contribute to the analysis and interpretation of research data.

Assist in the preparation of research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences.

Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Public Health, Psychology, Biostatistics, or a related discipline).

Experience in research environments, preferably within health sciences.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in data analysis software and tools is desirable.

This post will be offered on an fixed term contract for 24 months.

This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
