Our City based client have a new opening for a Senior Claims Executive. You will be responsible for Marine claims handling across Hull & Machinery and Offshore Energy on a lead and follow capacity. You will also provide support to the claims management team as well mentoring the junior members of the claims team.

Applicants should have previous London Market Marine claims experience working with either an Insurer, Lloyd's Syndicate or Lloyd's Broker. You will have the ability to lead work of high complexity, and has deep knowledge within Hull & Machinery and Energy PD claims. This will be a hybrid role.

Duties and Responsibilities

To handle Marine Hull and Offshore Energy claims on a lead and follow basis.

Monitor and process claims on ECF daily.

Assist the Head of Claims with daily claims matters.

Take strong initiative in claims handling processes and is considered a role model for less experienced colleagues.

Liaise and develop good relationships with Underwriters maintaining a flow of information.

Build strong relationship with Clients and Brokers

Participate in seminars, gatherings, and events when appropriate.
