- £12.38 per hour PAYE
- 37 hours per week
- During school holidays, working hours are Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5pm and 9am - 4.30pm on Fridays
- During term time, working hours are alternate weeks of 6.30am-2:30pm (1pm Fridays) and 2.00pm-10pm (9.30pm on Friday).
- Carry out regular checks of all school and ensure that everything is in good working order.
- Move furniture and equipment, change room layouts, as required.
- Carrying out minor repairs such as mending broken windows, changing light bulbs
- Maintaining the grounds and removing litter and removing any graffiti
- Maintain site security including unlocking the site buildings in the morning ahead of people arriving and locking up at the end of the day. This includes setting building alarms.
- Regular cleaning of sports hall floor using a mechanical washer/drier.
- Experience in undertaking basic maintenance and repairs.
- Good verbal communication skills; the ability to deal with students, staff, visitors and parents in a friendly manner
- Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Good practical/DIY skills
- Happy to undertake a DBS criminal record check prior to starting work
