    An exciting developmental opportunity has come up to be part of our growing team We are looking for an experienced nurse to work in Ambulatory Care to start as Clinical Educator and eventually join our team of Deputy Sisters/Charge Nurses. The new role is created to have a dedicated clinical educator for AAU, supporting the staff, new starters, and students. You will then be part of the AAU band team that delivers high standard, innovative and patient centred care that we deliver though Same Day Emergency Care pathway.

    Main duties of the job

    As a clinical educator, your role will be pivotal in staff development. You will be supported by the Unit Manager and AGM Practice Development Sister in developing this new role. Some of the role includes Identifying team learning needs, be involved in education delivery working alongside clinical colleagues, act as Practice Assessor/Supervisor for students, work alongside AAU medical fellows in local Quality Improvement Projects.

    As a deputy Sister/Deputy Charge nurse, you are required to promote best clinical practice at unit level, maintain high standards of care and be part of the unit management team to continuously improve the service.
