    We are seeking an Invoicing Specialist to join our Finance Operations team in Manchester . While primarily focused on billing, this role offers exposure to various finance functions such as Credit Control, Cashiering, Accounts Payable, and Transformation. As we undergo significant change to enhance our service delivery, we seek adaptable individuals who can seamlessly transition between roles and drive innovation.

    About the role

    Each Invoicing Specialist holds a range of responsibilities including (but not limited to):

  • Collaborate with lawyers to prepare and send bills to clients efficiently and accurately.
  • Generate diverse invoice types promptly, including standard bills, e-bills, composite bills, and multi-payor bills.
  • Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks to ensure smooth billing processes.
  • Take ownership of queries, monitor inboxes, and provide timely resolutions.
  • Continuously seek process improvement opportunities and leverage technology for automation.
  • Provide support to Credit Control, Cashiering, and Accounts Payable teams as needed.
  • Adapt duties as priorities evolve within the team.

  • Previous experience in law firms or professional services.
  • Familiarity with high-volume or shared services environments.
  • Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules.
  • Data literacy skills.
