Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a growing organisation based on the outskirts of Chester looking to recruit an experienced Senior Commercial Finance Business Partner to lead and manage a small FP&A team,and to take full ownership of this opportunity and drive through change and efficiencies to enable better business decisions by developing relationships with key stake holders across business areas including operations, supply chain and the commercial teams.


Main purpose of this role is:

  • Leadership and management of the FP&A team, including career development of team members
  • Support the Managing Director in the provision and delivery of high quality financial and management information to the Group's shareholders and other key stakeholders
  • The delivery of management information and reporting, budgets and forecasts and insightful analysis to the Board and senior business leaders across the business supporting and challenging business decisions

Responsibilities:


  • Reporting to the Managing Director with a dotted line to Group Finance
  • Review and reporting of product profitability and recovery management
  • Key involvement in commercial decision making and strategy implementation
  • Capacity modelling / visibility
  • Finance business partnering with key stakeholders across the operational and commercial businesses providing support / guidance
  • Direct labour and other cost analysis
  • Weekly and monthly KPI presentation and commentary
  • Budget and forecast preparation
  • Interaction with local senior team as well as parent co based in Europe
  • Management of small team of
  • Report on product margins, coordinating with business manager to explain drivers.
  • Provide product cost support to projects, supporting costdown exercises.
  • Finance Lead on ERP implementation team
  • Involved in commercial decisions and strategy implementation as well as traditional monthend reporting and compliance tasks.
  • Monthend reporting and metric reporting

Skills/Experience:


  • Ideally the successful individual will be ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified
  • Minimum 5 years post qualified experience, able to demonstrate your working experience in an accounting environment including a thorough understanding of business KPI reporting, performance tracking, managing business stakeholders and business reportingsystems
  • Experience of leading and developing a small team and be able to demonstrate strong delegation skills
  • Background within FMCG/Supply Chain/Manufacturing advantageous
  • Excellent communications able to demonstrate that you can present financial information in a clear, insightful and meaningful manner
  • Advanced Excel & financial modelling skills
  • Thrive on change and continuous business growth and development
  • A team player, you will deliver results from your ability to establish strong working relationships throughout the business

Salary/Benefits
- £55,000 to £62,000 per annum, plus 10% bonus based on personal and Company performance

  • Hybrid working is offered however due to the nature of this role and working with the operations teams on site it would be beneficial for the successful individual to be in at least 3/4 times a week to ensure the team are on top of everything, during lessbusy periods the business is happy to be flexible dependent on workload
