Our client is a global leader in e-commerce trading platforms with a diverse client portfolio and a profitable growth rate.

As their Group Accountant you will join their team and provide both hands-on and strategic advice to their senior leadership team.

You will also be instrumental in hiring a Group Accountant Assistant as you grow your team. This is a dynamic opportunity in a fascinating sector.

What your daily duties might look like:

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements
Establish accounting policies for company
Be actively involved in the firsttime adoption of IFRS
Drive process automation by implementing and administrating new tools
Set up a reporting package for disclosures
Continuously improve processes and the quality of reporting

What skill set qualifies you for the role:

Experience in audit or consulting or Group Accounting (you feel confident to establish Group Accounting in a growing and dynamic company)
Knowledge of HGB and IFRS
Knowledge of German GAAP
Experience working with common ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus) and consolidation tools (e.g. LucaNet, IDL, Tagetik)
You shine with great communication skills in English and German and want to be a part of our growth journey
