    Description
    An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed Assistant Manager in Hull. Salary £30,500.

    Specialism
    Acquired brain injury and a range of other neurological conditions such as Huntington's disease, Parkinson's, and multiple sclerosis.

    Purpose


    • To be a flexible member of the management team ensuring effective coordination of services within the location.
    • To assist in the management of a multidisciplinary workforce ensuring the client policies / procedures and values are adhered to with due consideration to the regulations and outcomes surrounding registered services. This may include having registered manager responsibility.
    • To ensure the care and support offered to each person is of the highest quality, meeting individual needs sensitively and striving to enable People We Support to maximise their potential.
    Qualifications required


    • To have completed QCF(NVQ) level 3 in Health and Social Care
    Experience, Skills and Ability


    • Knowledge and understanding of what constitutes a high quality specific service and experience.
    • Knowledge of using quality measures e.g. internal/external audits and experience of making improvements associated with such measures.
    • In depth knowledge of statutory requirements such as Care Quality Commission regulations and outcomes.
    • Knowledge of identifying and implementing staff training needs including knowledge of regulatory requirements for staff training in a social care environment.
    • Experience of providing high quality services.
    • Experience in the management and guidance of junior staff via formal supervision and appraisals to maintain and improve quality and morale.
    • Experience of person-centred working.
