Job IntroductionThe starting salary for this role is £23,243 per annum for working 36 hours per week.
We are offering:

- 9-month roles

Your primary base will be one of Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD) centres and there will be a requirement to work at all SOLD centres throughout the year
Our centre locations are:
- High Ashurst, Mickleham, Dorking, Surrey, RH5 6DQ
- Henley Fort, The Mount, Guildford, Surrey, GU2 4RH
- Thames Young Mariners, Riverside Drive, Ham, Richmond, TW10 7RX

To be shortlisted, we are looking for applicants who have previous outdoor learning delivery experience and hold some relevant National Governing Body (NGB) qualifications.
If you feel that you don't quite meet the criteria, we will also consider applicants with outdoor learning experience, particularly those who hold 'in house' qualifications from other outdoor centres.
Acceptable relevant NGB qualifications are:
- British Canoeing Paddlesports Instructor (or equivalent qualification)
- RYA Assistant Sailing Instructor or above
- Archery GB Instructor Award
- A walking qualification such as Sports Leader Lowland Expedition Leader / Mountain Training Lowland Leader / Mountain Leader
- MIAS level 2 / British Cycling Mountain Bike Leadership Level 2 Instructor
- Forest Schools Leader L3 / IOL Bushcraft Competency Certificate
- SPA / CWA / ERCA Ropes Course instructor

Additional Information
An enhanced DBS 'Disclosure and Barring Service' check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) and the Children's and Adults' Barred List checks will be required for this role.
