    Logistics Customer Service Manager

    Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

    Location: Commutable from Hull, Grimsby, Immingham, Scunthorpe, and Goole

    Grafton Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful business in the Hull area who are looking for Logistics Customer Service Manager to join their established logistics team. As a Logistics Customer Service Manager you will work with internal and external stakeholders to create, develop, enhance and improve the company's customer experience.

    The Role:

    Some of your responsibilities below.

    • You will work across internal teams and will be responsible for the management and maintenance of a seamless link between internal business processes.
    • Be the first point of contact for customers' queries.
    • Address inquiries promptly and professionally.
    • Develop and produce regular reports.
    • Work with other departments to embed company values across functions. Ensure a world-class customer experience.
    • Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures in conjunction with senior team members.
    • Claims Management: Insurance, Shipping Lines, Quality, Commercial Claims, Export Documents
    • Be alert to risks in the business process chain that could have a detrimental effect on the customer experience, and take proactive steps to mitigate these risks.
    • Monitor the progress and keep Customer regularly updated.
    • Co-ordinate weekly customer update reports using data generated across teams.
    • Conduct training sessions.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, analyse their feedback to identify areas for improvement.

    • Proven experience in a customer service management role with a strong understanding about business processes.
    • Strong problem solving skills and logical approach.
    • Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions to improve customer service processes.
    • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
    • Proactive customer focus approach.
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent college degree & 3 years of proven experience in a customer service role would be advantageous.
