Verus Recruitment Partners are pleased to be supporting a Shrewsbury based leading international Aerospace manufacturer in the recruitment of an experienced Machinist on a full-time, permanent basis.

As my client's Machinist, you will be responsible of all aspects of Machining working to efficient standards in a safe and timely manner.


About the Job:

  • To operate, set and program.
  • To read and interpret drawings.
  • To operate one or more Manual Machining Centres checking work as it comes off the machine.
  • To load, examine and modify Manual programmes to give a good output of quality work.
  • To be a team player and make a positive contribution in maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy.

About you:

  • You will have a minimum of 2 years manual machining experience.
  • Experience working to Standard Operations Procedures (SOP's)

  • Knowledge of aerospace products, processes and materials would be an advantage to support the high levels of customer quality and delivery demands.
  • Recognised engineering craft apprenticeship.
