    N-able in Edinburgh is looking to hire a Senior Data Analyst (Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst) working on visual report development and a PowerBI embedded solution. Bringing your experience in Data analysis, visual report designs, performance optimization, testing, deployment, pipelines, and infrastructure, you will actively participate in business requirement analysis and make use of data and requirements to provide business intelligence (BI) insights and data analytics.

    You will also support the building of frameworks and tools to streamline data visualization activities, and be responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of released products.

    What You'll Do

  • PowerBI dashboard report writing and data visualization.
  • Collaborates with product management, data engineering and quality assurance testers in a scrum team to deliver on embedded dashboards and reports.
  • Produces and supports the process of logical data modelling of the underlying business domains and data.
  • Ensures performance optimizations meet time to load and UX goals.
  • Provides demonstrations, reviews, and handovers of completed dashboards, visualizations and reports to testers and product managers.
  • Improves product quality by resolving bugs raised in testing as well as production feedback.
  • Develops production-quality code and infrastructure with minimal supervision.
  • Handles problems through analysis and evaluation using standard data analyst and business intelligence methods and can independently make complex technical decisions.
  • What You'll Bring

  • Strong experience in PowerBI with PowerBI embedded analytics desired. and in writing MS Power Query, DAX and SQL.
  • Strong skill level as a Data Analyst and Business Intelligence (BI) developer.
  • Experience working with RDL tools such SSRS or Report Builder , databases and data warehouses, cloud platforms and services.
  • Experienced in Software Development Lifecycle and with Version and Source Control tools (Git).
  • Experience in working with ISV solutions with embedded PowerBI is an added bonus
  • Strong problem solving and debugging skills coupled with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ideally 4-6 year's work experience.
