Description

Reporting to the HR Director, you will be a proactive, driven team player and will play a key role in providing an effective HR service.

You will manage a varied workload and be confident in managing your own ER cases. You will travel to other offices across Scotland to provide advice to colleagues across different areas of the business, in return you will receive a generous salary, bonus and company car

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Providing a frontline service for HR advice, coaching and guidance to support managers through employee relations matters such as disciplinary, grievance, performance and attendance management
Responding to HR operational enquiries from both managers and employees
To provide support, coaching and training to line managers in the recruitment, selection and onboarding of employees.
Assisting with processing payroll and working closely with the payroll team
Assisting with organising of training
Supporting the team to implement a range of operational HR projects and initiatives
Using HR systems and analysing HR data effectively

Role Criteria

The ability to manage multiple priorities and be able to work effectively towards deadlines
Good use of initiative and proactive approach to work
Maintain a current knowledge of HR best practice and employment law
High attention to detail and accuracy
HR generalist experience
Evidence of selfdevelopment and personal motivation
Full driving license and the willingness to travel to depots across Scotland
