- Deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with a range of SEND.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for students with SEND, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and partnership.
- Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and inspire students with SEND, promoting a love for learning.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and the school.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEND experience.
- Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and SEMH.
- Familiarity with the latest SEND legislation and best practices.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
