Ocean Healthcare are looking for an experienced
Healthcare Assistant to support an 18-year-old Male with a learning disability and epilepsy in
Bovey Tracey.
This young man is mobile with limited verbal communication, but he can use a kind of Makaton. He lives at home with his mum, sister and 2 brothers. He loves being outside especially on the beach playing in the sand and water.


You will be working 1:1

You need to be an experienced carer. It is not essential that you have specific experience working with complex needs as you will get all the training you need. You will be trained and supported by our outstanding team of specialists and nurses. This will involve training and shadowing until one of our nurses is happy to sign you off as competent.
Training is paid for.

Pay Rates:

£13.

50 p/hr Monday - Friday:

£16.

05 p/hr Saturday - Sunday:

-
£19.05 p/hr Bank Holidays

Shifts:


4 hours per day, 3 days per week available.


It's vital that we have staff consistency and so you will be required to pick up a minimum number of shifts.

You will be able to pick up more shifts each week if you would like to. Weekday shifts and Weekend shifts are available.

Flexibility would be appreciated, but we are willing to consider your personal circumstances if there are days/times you are unable to work.


Full mileage paid from home to this location in BOVEY TRACEY up to a maximum of 20 miles each way.

Permanent and bank contracts available. You can work full or part time.


You must be patient and caring and able to work on your own while providing care as part of a team.
