Electric Business Development Executive


We have an exciting opportunity for an
Electric Business Development Executive to develop and maintain relationships with Mercedes-Benz electric vehicle businesses in London, Essex & Kent Regions.


You will need to be a motivated individual by customer relationships and feedback and build upon the existing company Dealer web database, by prospecting, generating appointments and demonstrations whilst maintaining a consultative sales approach and maintaining company compliance criteria.


Ensure personal product knowledge for the EV range is class leading, thus becoming a product genius able to answer any questions a customer may have regarding range, usage, charging and lifestyle.

Generate relationships with infrastructure installation providers to enable one stop shop total solution to customers


EXCELLENT SALARY PACKAGE
Salary £37,500 - £40,000 pa basic / OTE up to £55,000 per annum

Bonus & Commission

Monday to Friday / 9am - 5:30pm


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • To sell new Mercedes-Benz EV products to business users within your area of responsibility
  • Arrange demonstration vehicles after qualifying the request thoroughly to maximise the sales opportunity
  • To sell finance, GAP, Extended warranty, and service plans within agreed KPI's to new and existing customers
  • Engage with electric vehicle industry professionals and attend shows and seminars to set out plans and understand market trends
  • Keep customers informed about product changes, production time frames and price increases
  • Working closely with the CSE team to complete all relevant paperwork and to prepare a thorough customer handover process
  • Act as point of contact for customers and prospects, ensuring all clients are dealt with courteously & efficiently
  • Ensure that within their area of operation all Company procedures and minimum standards are met and that all statutory requirements including trading standards, fire, health, and safety are adhered to
  • Handle all internal and external customers and suppliers with courtesy and ensure the MTV/Mercedes-Benz experience is always delivered to all contacts
  • Specialist projects as agreed with the Management team to support the business requirements of the organisation
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the Management team
  • Regularly communicate, promote products and good news customer stories via social media and the Motus internal engage app
  • Sell the benefits of the MB Me connectivity app with the customer and ensure that the products and services have been set up on relevant systems
  • To ensure all processes & related procedures are adhered to in every transaction

Key Requirements:


  • Must be able to demonstrate a class leading product knowledge for the MB EV range of vehicles within the first 3 months of employment.
  • Sales and target driven
  • The ability to present videos, presentations, and postings onto social media channels.
  • Outgoing personality whilst confident and professional always
  • Resilience and abilities to find solutions and overcome objections.
  • Good telephone and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be accurate and show attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and cope under pressure.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
