Description

We're looking for a high-performing Content Writer/Creator with a strong background in luxury, interiors and/or e-commerce to join our fast-growing team at the forefront of luxury home interiors.

We're looking for a creative thinker—a thought leader—with a passion for interior design who can produce engaging editorial and visual content which will allow customers to feel more knowledgeable about the design world, current trends and our brands.


  • Conceive and write timely and evergreen editorial content for the online magazine, The Luxurist
  • Prepare and upload new articles according to editorial calendar deadlines and website standards and with a strong focus on maximising commerciality of content
  • Manage The Luxurist homepage and content upload schedule as per editorial calendar
  • Regularly contribute interesting and commercially aware content ideas
  • Responsible for researching and image sourcing from suitable and onbrand external sources
  • Update outdated editorial content and associated product edits
  • Create editorialsupported product edits
  • Foster existing and new relationships with interior designers and PRs
  • Organise and update content library
  • Assist Editor with other ad hoc editorial or marketing tasks
  • Actively participate in the Marketing team, including offering content ideas for wider marketing

REQUIREMENTS

  • A track record of successfully implementing SEO best practices and producing highconversion ecommerce content
  • Experience as a content writer within the interiors, design, art or lifestyle industries with the ability to showcase an engaging and varied editorial portfolio
  • A demonstrable passion for interior design
  • Strong grammar skills, an understanding of our brand tone of voice, which is rooted in luxury ecommerce, and a detailoriented personality
  • The ability to subedit one's own work meticulously as well as the work of others
  • A creative, selfmotivated, enthusiastic and adaptable individual with a solid work ethic

DESIRABLE

  • The ability to balance commercial understanding with editorial flair and an interest in developing a career in ecommerce content writing
  • A knowledge of the interior design industry and its brands, as well as an interest in the general zeitgeist
  • A general understanding of CMS platforms and Photoshop
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
