    As EMEA Senior Legal Counsel you will join the rapidly growing global legal team supporting Databricks' business activities and working on diverse matters including the development of our business across multiple jurisdictions, negotiating commercial contracts, and solving issues relating to security and privacy. You will be agile, highly organised and have the skills, drive and flexibility to support and accelerate this leading technology company, addressing cutting-edge legal issues and organisational challenges. You will report to the Senior Managing Counsel, EMEA.

    The impact you will have:

  • Draft and negotiate complex, non-standard agreements
  • Advise and help train sales teams on deal process and contract management
  • Understand product, data security, and privacy process issues to guide the sales team during negotiations, and in many other contexts
  • Help with standardisation of documentation and implement new processes or projects across multiple jurisdictions
  • Understand Databricks' internal structures, product offerings, technology, security/data protection systems and policies to give you a foundation for providing support across all lines of business
  • What we look for:

  • Attorney with significant experience post-qualification ideally gained within an In-House team in the tech sector
  • Experience negotiating with customers in regions across EMEA including negotiating contracts with public sector customers is desirable
  • Understanding of cloud services, technology and professional services contracts
  • Knowledge of business process gained in-house relating to commercial, contract, intellectual property, and data privacy law
  • Experience managing workload in a high-pressure environment with competing demands
