    Derbyshire Healthcare is looking for a Director of People, Organisational Development and Inclusion to join the Trust and our newly formed Executive Leadership Team, to lead our well established People and Inclusion Team.

    The Director of People, Organisational Development and Inclusion is a non-voting member of the Trust Board, sharing corporate responsibility for strategic planning, corporate policy making and the delivery of Trust objectives, while providing professional advice to the Board both strategically and in relation to the Board's responsibilities as an employer.

    You will be a key member of the Trust's Executive Team and Board of Directors, working closely with partner colleagues across our Integrated Care System, Joined Up Care Derbyshire, and the East Midlands Region.

    You will lead the people function inside the Trust, ensuring that it serves the needs of clinical and non-clinical departments and works in partnership with staff and staff representatives.

    Main duties of the job

    Transactional Human Resources including teaching and learning is delivered through a shared people services function with Derbyshire Community Health Services (DCHS) and you will hold responsibility for managing that contract and holding the shared service to account for delivery of the service.

    With a proven record of strong leadership at a senior level, both within the HR & OD brief, you will ensure that the Trust has a well-motivated, highly skilled, and high-performing workforce that has the capability and capacity to deliver high quality services in line with the Trust's vision, values, and strategic objectives.
