    The role is based at Head Office, Heywood, 37.5 hrs per week .

    pm (Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch daily)

    Import Administrator
    Working at the heart of our Sales and Buying Team, you'll find our busy and dynamic specialist team, continuously improving processes and finding ways to better service our customers. We thrive on creating the best solutions to complex and ever-changing challenges.

    With the important task of administrating the import processes for our vast worldwide supply chain, you will be part of the team that enables our flow of goods run seamlessly. Your input as a team player and import professional, will have a direct impact on our operations, and customers.

    In Import, no two days are the same You will constantly be bringing solutions to new and interesting challenges.

    You'll need excellent communication skills and you'll be in direct contact with the buyers, as well as brokers and freight forwarders around the world. This will be a fast paced, dynamic position where you'll need to take a pragmatic approach to solving problems to ensure our imported products get to our customers on time.

    What you'll do

  • Working closely with internal teams such as Customs, Buying and Supply Chain, as well as International
  • Producing end to end documentation for all processes reflecting operational practices including systems, reporting, and training
  • Solving problems to key issues proactively and escalating in a timely manner
  • Follow our process and systems relating to all aspects of imports
  • What you'll need

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of business departments
  • Good IT skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive and a great can-do attitude
  • Process focused with great attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Admin Experience and Import background an Advantage but not essential
