    Company Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scientist with a Ph.D. and a strong background in drug development, particularly in the design and execution of animal model studies. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our drug candidates through preclinical development, ensuring rigorous adherence to regulatory standards.

    Responsibilities:

    Animal Model Study Design:

    Develop and implement comprehensive animal model study protocols, ensuring alignment with project goals, regulatory requirements, and ethical considerations. Tailor study protocols to optimize efficacy and safety testing for drug candidates in alignment with disease indications.

    Execution and Oversight:

    Manage animal model studies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

    Monitor and troubleshoot experimental procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols and ethical standards. Collaborate with external partners and contract research organizations (CROs) as needed.

    Data Analysis and Evaluation:

    Analyse study results, interpret findings, and draw scientifically sound conclusions. Collaborate with statisticians and data scientists to ensure robust data analysis methodologies. Provide insights into the selection of suitable biomarkers and endpoints for efficacy and safety assessment.

    Scientific Reporting:

    Prepare detailed scientific reports summarizing study methodologies, results, and conclusions. Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions and ensure alignment with FDA and EMA regulations for drug registration.

    Publication and Presentation:

    Author and contribute to scientific papers for peer-reviewed journals, emphasizing the significance of the research.

    Prepare and deliver engaging presentations at scientific conferences, disseminating study findings to the broader scientific community.

    Qualifications:

    • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (Pharmacology, Biology, or related field).
    • Extensive experience in designing and conducting animal model studies for drug development.
    • Strong knowledge of FDA and EMA regulations for regulatory submissions and drug registration.
    • Proven track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and external partners.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
    • Detail-oriented and able to work independently, demonstrating leadership in a fast-paced research environment.
