Stoke-on-Trent (Hybrid Working Available)
Monday - Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join up with a global company supplying market leading equipment, servicing the Food and Beverage, Pharma, Marine & Wastewater industries.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for handling multiple projects all with varying engineering requirements, seeing the projects through from initial order booking to customer hand over and commissioning, a "cradle to grave" style role.
Alongside thisyou will also be responsible for managing time and budget as well as allocating the suitable resource so that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
You will have access to support resource available to help with contributing to the overall delivery,again with delegation coming from you the Project Manager.
The ideal Project Manager will have experience working within a multi-disciplined engineering team and have an understanding of the fundamentals of engineering whilst being confident when dealing with customers and stakeholders alike and the ability to commerciallymanage multiple projects.
Key Roles & Responsibilities as a Project Manager:
- Handling multiple customer projects with varying requirements and deliverables at the same time.
- Providing support and advising the sales teams through the bid phase to ensure the customer's specifications are met and that
- The projects will be of varied value and complexity, but will all revolve around the company's core separation and mixing equipment
- The project manager will be responsible for pushing projects from kickoff through the design manufacture installation into commissioning phases
- Deliver projects on time and on budget managing resource as necessary
- Responsible for ensuring accurate commercial records are kept and to provide strong reasoning for variations and changes both internally and externally
Knowledge and skills as a Project Manager:
- Experience working within a similar industry/background in Mechanical engineering
- A solid understanding of engineering fundamentals
- You must be experienced in project delivery with a proven track record of this
- A customerfocused approach to projects with an appreciation of time, cost and resources
- You are able to network and form internal relationships to ensure customer demand satisfaction
- Ability to delegate and prioritise tasks to support members in completing activities in line with customer expectations
- You are confident when facing customers and other stakeholders and have the ability to commercially manage multiple projects and provide concise updates to peers and management
- You have technical qualifications and/or have served significant time in engineering related roles
- Experience operating in an NEC project environment.
