    About the Employer

I am both the employer and service user.

I have a diagnosis of Idiopathic Intercranial Hypotension with Papilledema, anxiety & depression, Fibromyalgia, neuropathy nerve damage, Chiri malformation with partial Tonsillectomy, Hypermobile Joint Syndrome, functional neurological disorder, Dissociative seizures.

All long term complex needs I reside at home with my young son and currently have my mother living with us to provide support.

Due to the nature and symptoms associated with my disabilities, this has left me with mobility issues, I at times struggle with tasks that require fine motor skills resulting in me needing support with personal care (assistance at times with dressing, support in transferring me via a hoist in and out of the bath and assistance to help me maintain personal care and hygiene) and preparing meals.

I am extremely isolated and would like to employ a PA to become an extension of my support network, to provide hands on support and companionship.

I am seeking to recruit a casual PA to compliment my team and cover my current PA's annual leave and any sickness.

The PA I am seeking would be around when my son is home so being child friendly is paramount.

The PA role will be to provide friendship, support, helping me in with day-to-day tasks to help me build my confidence, encourage me with my independence and allowing my mum a break from her caring role.

The PA support will enable me to develop my social support network
